Bailey and I ventured to the happiest place on earth for a thrill ride - not on Space Mountain, but at the Richard Petty Driving Experience at the Walt Disney World Speedway! Growing up, our dad was a race car driver, so we're pretty used to fast cars and loud engines...but we still couldn't contain our excitement.

After a tour of the garage and track area, it was time to get on our firesuits. I mean, I totally rocked the look, don't you think? :)

We rode shotgun with a professional driver in a real NASCAR race car for three laps. Reaching speeds up to 120mph (0 to 100 real quick...literally), these cars flew around the track, and I loved every second! I think I'm ready to take the wheel and switch over to the driver's seat...and make my NASCAR debut! (ha! jk, I'll stick to blogging.)

There's an experience for everyone here - junior ride alongs for the little ones featuring characters from the Cars series, "Exotics" driving experiences with high-powered sports cars, and even training like a pro in a 50 lap racing experience! So. Much. Fun.

Find out more about the Richard Petty Driving Experience at the Walt Disney World Speedway here!

Special thanks to Hope and everyone at Hayworth PR and the Richard Petty Driving Experience team for having us!

I've already raved about my favorites over at ban.do before, but now I can finally share the surprise! My bestie Sarah and I are completely obsessed with them. We're such a fan of their Instagram and adorable accessories, but honestly how could you not?

So, when it was time to celebrate Sarah's 21st, I looked no further than to ban.do of course! The team sent me a box of goodies for her, and oh my word, it was literally a party in a box.

Confetti, buttons, candy and a smiley face balloon? Sounds like a total party to me! The best part? They sent along this Happy Birthday headband that Sarah wore when we went out for a hibachi birthday dinner at Epcot (#yum). I mean, she's just the cutest.

Check out all the #bandofun at shopbando.com!

Special thanks to Kelly and the ban.do team for making her birthday extra special!

There's a stereotype floating around that Floridians live at Disney. I don't know about the rest of Florida, but I do know that my sister and I LOVE Disney, and we totally wish we could live there all the time. Living less than an hour away from the parks has its perks...and going to college twenty minutes from there wasn't awful. I didn't just grow up with the Disney movies on VHS like the rest of us 90's kids. No, I grew up with Cinderella's Castle in my backyard (not literally, but you get the idea!).

So, you can understand my excitement when I discovered that ASOS has launched a new line of exclusive Minnie Mouse ears...and I am in love! They're not your average mouse ears. No, these have a little extra sass that are perfect for making a statement at Disney World (or, for my West Coasters, Disneyland!).
Red & White Polka Dot Minnie Mouse Ears
Leopard Sequin Minnie Mouse Ears
Metallic Sequin Minnie Mouse Ears

Pom Pom Minnie Mouse Ears

My favorite have to be the sparkly ones (obviously!). Which pair of ASOS Minnie Mouse ears is your fave?

Living an hour away from one of the world's leading tourist destinations has its perks. I mean, heading over to Disney World for the day doesn't require a plane ticket, twelve hour car ride, or even a hotel stay, and I love it.

As a Floridian, I'm pretty much an expert when it comes to handling the parks. I know the what roads to take to avoid traffic, when not to go to Magic Kingdom, and what to do when I'm there. In the fifty plus times that I've hopped aboard the monorail, I've also learned what to wear for a day at the happiest place on earth (no, really, it is!).

If you're like me, style is everything. I love any excuse to dress up! However, Disney World is not a place to rock your new tulle skirt and platform booties. It just isn't. Save those for dinner at the resort hotels, trust.

While I'm a fan of DisneyBound, not all the outfits are sensible enough to wear to the parks. It's common knowledge that Florida gets hot. Like, REALLY hot. And humid, which makes you feel kind of gross and sticky. Ew. Don't even get me started on afternoon thunderstorms!! With this in mind, it's best to be practical when packing for a Disney trip.

Lucky for you, I've hand-picked a winner of an outfit that combines style and comfort. With a little faith, trust, and pixie dust, you'll be on your way to infinity and beyond while looking cute and staying comfy!
Top - J. Crew, Shorts - Rag & Bone, Sandals - Jack Rogers, Backpack - PacSun, Sunglasses - Ray-Ban, Bracelet - Alex and Ani, Ears - Disney Store (sold out online, available at Disney Parks)

Top - Choose something that is airy and light-colored to avoid absorbing heat. This pretty top from J. Crew is just the solution!

Shorts - Avoid dresses or skirts. Again, trust. A classic pair of denim shorts can easily take you from Splash Mountain to Thunder Mountain and back to Cinderella's Castle.

Sandals - I've worn both tennis shoes and sandals to the parks, but I have to say, my Jacks always win! Whatever shoes you decide to wear, ensure that they're broken in. You don't want a painful blister halfway through the day (been there, done that).

Backpack - Okay, this is my one free "tourist" item. I think backpacks are almost necessary for day-long stays. If you go for a few hours, a crossbody bag will totally make the cut. But, if you plan on staying from opening until the Wishes fireworks, I recommend a backpack to hold your essentials. Plus, it keeps your hands free. I love this lace one from PacSun. Stylish, but functional!

Sunglasses - ESSENTIAL. It's bright! Bring a pair that won't fall off your face and keep them with you at all times. I love these Ray-Ban aviators - so classic and chic.

Jewelry - Keep it minimal. I love this Alex and Ani Disney bracelet for obvious reasons, but these are also great because they won't fall off your wrist. The band is adjustable, so you don't have to worry about losing it getting off a ride.

Mickey (or Minnie) Ears - Okay, I lied. This is definitely another tourist item that you just have to have. They're obnoxious and sparkly and just scream "I AM READY TO MEET THE PRINCESSES!!!" But, really though. There's tons of options, from the classic Mickey ears, which can be embroidered in the parks, to a Minnie Mouse headband, to Princess crowns...it's hard to choose just one! I recommend waiting until you get to the parks to get these vs. ordering online because 1. trying them on in the store is soooo fun and 2. the parks tend to offer more of a selection. These really just take an everyday outfit to the next level, don't you think?

Are you visiting a Disney Park soon? What do you wear to theme parks?

I did it! I graduated college. I made it through three years of endless nights in the library studying for impossible exams, writing papers I never thought I could finish, early morning classes fueled by extra shots of espresso, a few lots of late night Domino's orders and Disney movie marathons, laughing (and crying) with sisters who will be with me always, and, through it all, discovering who I really want to be in life. Although it's easy to think that everything is over as I'm leaving my Rollins home, my life has only just begun. I'm excited for new adventures, new places and faces, and most of all, the new opportunities that lie ahead.

Now, for the fun part! I recently had my senior pictures done by Emma Cowart Photography. If you're in the Orlando area, definitely check her out.

I had the best time with Emma taking these photos around campus. Rollins College is absolutely gorgeous, if I do say so myself, so it was the perfect location. While I'm pretty much obsessed with all the ones she took, I've shared some of my favorites from the session below!

What I wore: First Outfit: Lilly Pulitzer dress, Jack Rogers (similar), Kiel James Patrick bracelet, Kate Spade earrings (old); Second Outfit: Lilly Pulitzer dress and earrings (old), Jack Rogers, Kiel James Patrick bracelet

Congratulations to the class of 2014! We did it!
