Tocca Eau de Parfum in Stella // Albeit Cheek Stick in Nectar
Mirabeau Bar Soap in Poppy

After the stress that comes with the holidays, it's nice to take a break and pamper with a few new beauty products! I'm always hesitant to branch out when it comes to all things in the beauty department, but wow. I can't get enough of these Anthropologie finds!

My personal favorite has to be the Tocca fragrance in Stella. The mini bottle is perfect to throw in my bag when I head back home for Christmas, and it smells sooo good!

I've shared some more of my #AnthroBeauty favorites below that make perfect last-minute gifts and stocking stuffers! Merry Christmas, y'all!

#ANTHROBEAUTY FAVES
It's officially the most wonderful time of the year...and also only a few short days until my birthday. Craziness! I'm actually real excited about this one because 23 has been my lucky number since I played volleyball in 7th grade (lol @ me playing sports) and randomly got stuck with the 23 jersey. Worked out for me, though, because ever since then, good things happen to me whenever that number is involved. Cool stuff. So maybe, this will be a good year for me too? Idk. Tbd.

Since Christmas is like, 21 days away, I threw together a little gift guide for ya of my favorite non-basic picks, because truly I'm offended at the number of basic gifts floating around on Pinterest right now. Fuzzy socks? Groundbreaking. (but tbh I really love those things)
Faux fur pom pom clip // Kate Spade glitter stud earrings
"Be happy, be bright, be you" canvas // Flamingo iPhone 6/6s case
ban.do floral charging kit // essie polish // Voluspa candle // S'well water bottle
Kate Spade mini Maise bag // Disney x Vans Alice In Wonderland slip-ons

I'm a big fan when things match and when they're my favorite colors...so, clearly, I had to pick everything pink, mint and gold! These gifts would be perfect for your girl squad, but I won't judge if you add them to your personal wishlist (they're on my list too...oops).

What's on your wishlist this year??

SheIn t-shirt dress (c/o) // similar Aerie blanket scarf (c/o) // Sam Edelman ankle booties
similar Kate Spade bag and watch // Antebellum Baubles bangles (c/o)

Even though I put my Christmas tree up two weeks ago (#sorrynotsorry), I'm still so excited that Christmas is finally here! It may not feel like it outside, ahem, in 75 degree weather, but it's totally fine. It gives me an excuse to wear this cute t-shirt dress on the reg. It's so comfy and easy!

I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving too! Our day was a joint turkey fest / birthday celebration as my lil sis turned 19. I really enjoyed seeing the fam and, of course, my parents' adorable puppies!!

Oh, and my 23rd birthday is next. week. Casual. It's fine, I think. You can catch a sneak peek of my bday / Christmas wishlist over on Pinterest, btw. ;)

A post that is longggg overdue...a sneak peek of my apartment! I'm LOVING every bit of it. All the details are just so "me," from the hysterical flamingo plush I found at Anthro to the "pretty dress fund" jar (c/o Ankit), and the Orlando map print from Evelyn Henson... I can't handle it. So much Florida in one space, it's magical.

I'm sorry it took forever and a day to share these, but it's still not quite "finished." I've still got plenty of more things to add little by little...and pretty soon, it'll be looking a lot like Christmas! I'll definitely share more pics as I add on. All in all, apartment life is treating me sooo well (and my furbaby Murphy loves it too!!).

Hope y'all have a happy Friday...and an awesome Halloween weekend!!

SheIn peplum top (c/o) // similar white jeans // similar Tory Burch wedges and tote
Ray-Ban aviators // similar monogram necklace // Kendra Scott earrings
similar Kate Spade watch // Kiel James Patrick bow bracelet

I don't think I've ever been so happy to see Friday!! It's been such a long week...omg. I helped move in my sister Bailey into her dorm at UF earlier this week, which was a struggle in itself. Florida weather isn't the cutest when you're moving boxes up five floors. Oh, well. Her dorm looked super cute anyways!!

Speaking of cute, this peplum top is everything. I mean, seriously. I paired it with white jeans and wedges for a classic, chic look. I'm obsessed with peplum as it is, and I just love how "peppy" the ruffle actually is!!! Instant fave.

If there's one question I get literally almost daily, it's "How do I start a blog??" Well, it's not easy, and takes a lot of time and effort, but it is one of the best decisions I've made!

I've been blogging for about 5 years now. While my style has changed, so has my blog. I started out in high school, posting selfies of my outfits in my room. Not even joking. While Lucky Day has only been "launched" for 2 years, my blogging experience extends a little further back. (Anyone else remember Brilliant in Bows?? #sorry)

In any case, blogging success doesn't happen overnight. It takes a ton of behind-the-scenes effort, lots of Googling, trial and error, and of course, dedication. If your goal is to gain followers, don't blog. Seriously. Blogging should be about sharing whatever it is that your focus is, whether that be fashion, travel, crafts...the choices are endless!

In any case, I've listed my 5 tips for starting a blog below! Enjoy! xx

1. Be original. So, there's just about every kind of blog out there, so what makes your idea so unique? What is it about your blog that's going to stand out from the cookie-cutters? Whatever that is, find it and run with it. You'll enjoy blogging so much more when you're being yourself and not trying to keep up with the Joneses. Focus on your blog, your content, and being creative.

2. Be consistent. This is a no brainer, but having a consistent theme, post schedule and even content can make a huge difference. Readers love consistency in posts, so again, find your voice and stick with it. However, don't be afraid to throw in a little surprise every now and then either!

3. Quality over quantity. It's easy to want to blog every day when you first start. While this seems like the best way to get your blog out there, your posts can quickly become flat and lack quality. It's better to have quality content over quantity content any day. That is, readers enjoy posts that are well-written, photographed and edited rather than viewing a ton of sub-par posts. Take time to really develop your content, even if that means you don't post as frequently.

4. Schedule, schedule, schedule! I'm pretty bad about this myself, but it helps to schedule posts in advance. It really does. I don't really work like that and may schedule up to a week in advance, but that's about it. In any case, when you're first starting out, it's good to have at least two weeks to a month ready to go. That way, you don't have to constantly come up with blog post ideas and you can focus on the feedback instead of worrying about throwing posts together last minute. Find a schedule that works for you and plan accordingly!

5. Have fun! Blogging is supposed to be fun. It's supposed to be about sharing things about your life in a way that is completely your own (throwback to tip number 1). It is hard work and takes a lot of effort that people don't necessarily see, but it will be worth it. I've made a ton of connections through blogging, not just networking but also friends that share similar interests as me that I wouldn't have met otherwise! Join a blogging group (seriously, there are tons out there!), reach out to other bloggers, and just go with the flow. Don't put pressure on yourself to make your blog look like someone else's or worry about how many followers you have. The key is to really enjoy sharing content and being yourself!

Sweater LC Lauren Conrad (c/o) | Skirt Space 46 Boutique | Shoes Kate Spade | Watch Kate Spade (similar) | Bracelets Lilly Pulitzer (similar) and J. Crew (similar)

I couldn't wait to share this post with y'all!  Ever since I saw Cinderella in theaters, I've been dying to get my hands on a piece from the LC Lauren Conrad collection inspired by the film. Thanks to my Fairy Godmother (aka the magical PR team at Kohl's), I got to style one of the gorgeous sweaters fit for a modern day princess. I wore it with a tulle skirt and glittery heels...but, don't worry, these will be staying on my feet!
