Fitness Goals + Giveaway!

Jacket Charles River Apparel (c/o) | Cami Tank Target (similar) | Leggings Nike (similar) | Sneakers Nike | Water Bottle Camelbak (similar)

I will be the first to admit...I don't workout. Like, I don't go to the gym, I hate running, and I'm not really a fan of lifting anything heavier than my puppies. In college, I was forced to take P.E. classes for general ed requirements and dreaded each trip I made to Pilates. I pretended I was all about the treadmill afterwords...but really, I was probably thinking about pizza and updating my Snapchat story about being at the gym.

I know I should probably work on this, so what better way to get motivated than cute workout clothes? I mean, this Charles River Apparel jacket would be sooo cute to wear before yoga. Oh, and there's a giveaway happening on my Instagram for it, hint hint.

Instead of making a workout schedule that I'll never stick to (yeah, like I really want to do 50 crunches and 25 push-ups a day, Pinterest), I've made a few mini fitness goals that I don't feel so overwhelmed by.

1. Drink more water. This is totally an issue with me because I really just want a Dr. Pepper instead. Bad. I've found that I'm more apt to drink a lot of water if it's in a cute water bottle...like, I honestly trick myself into drinking it. I'll fill up a water bottle or tumbler and keep it at my desk while I'm working to stay hydrated during the day.

2. Daily yoga. Yoga is about the only thing that I actually enjoy in terms of working out. I found Yoga With Adriene on YouTube, and she's honestly just so great. It's really chill and has a go-at-your-own-pace kind of vibe. I've attempted her 30 Day Yoga Challenge previously...but didn't really finish it. It's so convenient for me to set up my mat at home and pull up a video, so I really need to start that up again!

3. Get outside. Between answering emails, scheduling blog posts and finishing up things for work, I spend a ton of time indoors staring at my phone or computer screen. Since the weather has been gorgeous, I've been taking time to get outside for an hour or so just to sit and enjoy the sunshine! Even after work, I'll walk around a little bit before I drive home. It really helps me to refocus when I get some fresh air.

4. Golf. Okay, don't know if it's Jordan Spieth's cute face at the Master's or that my dad recently picked it up again, but I've been dying to get back on the greens. I took lessons and went to golf camp when I was in high school, and am really starting to miss it! Again, it's so chill and gives me an excuse to wear cute golf outfits. Such a win!
