Happy Good Friday, y'all!! Today is always such a great day because it's a reminder not only that Jesus has risen (Matthew 28:6), but also a reminder of my faith and walk with God. He has blessed me already so much this year, and so many things are happening, but they've all been so, so good! Even through rejection and closed doors, God has taught me so much about being patient. I've grown so much from where I was last year (almost a year since I graduated, whaaaaat??), and can already see that God has big plans for my life (Jeremiah 29:11).

So, this weekend in between church services and Easter egg hunts, I'm going to stop and not only praise him for saving me through grace, but also for all of the blessings that are now and to come. Without him, I would not be where I am right now, and for that I am so grateful!

In any case, I've also made some big changes in my life recently. I took the plunge and redesigned my blog (still a work in progress...please pardon the pixie dust!). I also, as you might have noticed, went blonde. Yes. Blonde. I needed a fresh new look, and that's exactly what I got! S/o to my hair dresser for being able to make my Pinterest hair goals a reality. It's also a little bit shorter...but I love it. It just feels so me!

I also finally tried out this midi skirt trend for myself. Safe to say, I think it's a win! It's so feminine and flirty...and an instant classic for my wardrobe. I paired it with a printed blouse, statement necklace and heels for a more sophisticated look, but it could easily be dressed down with a cute tee and flats.

Whew! That was a long one. Thanks for sticking with me. I hope y'all enjoy your Easter weekend!! Try not to eat too many Peeps ;)

  1. I've been wanting to try the midi skirt, but I'm so short that I think it'll make me look even shorter! I love how you styled it so I may just have to try it anyways! Hope you have a Happy Easter!

  7. Gorgeous! Your hair is beautiful! I've considered doing blonde highlights, but I've decided to stick to brunette for now. :-) You look so cute as a blonde, though!
