Since my life has changed drastically over the past six months, I feel like it's only natural for my personal style to evolve. I've grown as a person and feel like it's almost necessary for my wardrobe to grow with me. The more I look at my closet, the more I realize how unlike me it really is. For the most part, there are still pieces I identify with, but as a whole, I think my style needs a major refresh.

I spent my Friday night cleaning out my closet, tossing pieces that didn't resonate with me. It's funny how I look at some of these things and think, why would I even buy something like this in the first place? It's so not me at all!

The hard part is, I'm not exactly sure what direction I'm headed in. Like I've mentioned before, my life is in limbo - I'm not a sorority girl on campus anymore, but at the same time, I'm not a "real" adult quite yet. This in-between phase is a little tricky to figure out, but the best part is I get to decide on where I want to go.

Finding out who I am is rather difficult. I know what I like and what I don't, which is a start, but I what I like doesn't always align. It's all about finding that perfect balance of who I am as a person today and who I aspire to be. My personal style is a big part of this because it expresses me to the world without having to introduce myself.

Over the next few months, I'll be shifting through a lot of updates, so hang tight. I promise things are changing for the better. In the meantime, have an awesome weekend and see ya soon. •

Wearing: Brandy Melville sweater and similar shorts // Jack Rogers monogrammed sandals // similar Kate Spade watch and earrings // Ray-Ban sunglasses // Alex and Ani bangles 1, 2, 3 // MantraBand // Monogrammed necklace // Essie polish in "Tour De Finance"

Saturdays are best for adventures around the world at Epcot, no passport required. Country hopping with rosé in hand...seriously, it doesn't get much better than that! #yeswayrosé

If you need a go-to outfit for spring at the parks, this is it. A sweater and shorts combo is perfect for not-too-hot, not-too-cold weather during the day. If you plan on staying for dinner, I'd definitely suggest switching into jeans because it can get pretty chilly later in the day. Also, may I recommend dining at Teppan Edo in Epcot - hibachi, Disney style. We lunched there, and it's one of my favorites! So good.

Mood: Be a flamingo in a flock of pigeons.

Listening to: Ahhhh Summer Sixteen (thx Drake)

Lately, I've decided that my wardrobe needs a major adjustment. There's so many things that I've worn once, or not at all, and I'm just like, why do I need to hoard it?? Plus, getting rid of things means making room for new ones, right?

I'm totally not against creating a capsule wardrobe for spring. Sooo I probably won't narrow it down to 40 items (that's intense), but I'm all about "defining" my style and making it way easier to get dressed in the mornings. When everything coordinates, it just works better! I also have the tendency to dress according to my feels, and that needs to stop because I end up in outfits that aren't me at all. Instead, I'm looking forward to enhancing my everyday looks that truly let my personality shine through!

I'm super inspired by wardrobes like Mackenzie Horan's of Design Darling because it's consistent, unique but fun! She sticks to a strict color palette and silhouettes, but it works. I probably couldn't narrow my wardrobe down to just 3 colors (thanks, Lilly), but it'd be cool to create a color palette to use as a guide while shopping.

Meanwhile, you can keep up with my indecisive style on Pinterest. Wish me luck.

Wearing: Shirt, belt and jeans c/o Uniqlo // Similar Tory Burch bag and wedges // Daniel Wellington watch c/o Country Club Prep // Statement necklace c/o Marley Lilly // Monogram necklace // MantraBand // Alex and Ani bangle // Ray-Ban sunglasses

Yoooo! What's good? Three day weekends, that's what. Tbh, I think every weekend should be a three day weekend, but that's just me, especially when the weather was this nice! I put together this classic look from Uniqlo to enjoy the day off - and seriously, these jeans are my new favorite! They're SO comfy with a hint of stretch. And, if you're in the short club like me, the ankle length is perfect! It's always so hard to find pants that I don't have to hem - and these are it. 5/5 stars.

Yippee! I'm so pumped that it's a 3-day weekend...and I have zero plans. It's such an awesome feeling after being swamped with work recently! I love staying busy, but it's always nice to take a breath and recharge every once in a while.

With that being said, I've come across a few fun little things I wanted to share - mostly because they made me smile at some point this week - so, hopefully they'll do the same for you!

Oh Joy!: How To Be You

Joy Cho over at Oh Joy! has been one of my favorite bloggers for a while. Her colorful, whimsical style never ceases to inspire me. Plus, she's like the cutest mom in existence with a equally cute product line at Target, I may add. She recently wrote this article about how to be you, and I absolutely loved it.

Disney "Up"-inspired Picnic Date

In the spirit of Valentine's Day, Disney Style dropped this Up-inspired picnic date...and I died. Up has always been one of my favorite Pixar films because of its color, quirkiness and feels, so this date idea was a win in my book. Carl + Ellie 4ever.

Cake By The Ocean - DNCE

I was a total JoBros fangirl back in the day, so clearly I was super thrilled to find out Joe (my fave) branched out into his own hipster-y band. This song is super catchy and makes me wanna dance...er, DNCE?

Lilly's New Arrivals

Spring is on its way, which means time for a little spring cleaning in my closet to make room for some bright new pieces...and Lilly's got that covered. Here's a few of my favorites from their latest colorful collection:

P.S. Happy Valentine's Day! Hope you enjoy your Sunday!! Xoxo

...is to get started. And, I know. You're probably like, really Shelby? Pinterest told me that 72 times already. I'm sorry. It's totally cliché and pulled from a motivational poster in a waiting room somewhere. But, it's true.

It means more to me now than ever. I'm embarking on this adventure my parents like to call "real life" - you know, paying bills, having responsibilities, being a part of the corporate world - that sort of thing. All of it can get overwhelming and stressful. Looking at my to-do list makes me cringe. Trust me, I know. Post-grad life is legit.

To be honest, I don't know what I'm doing 95% of the time. And, that's okay. It's okay that I have to text my mom when I need help changing my air filter. It's okay that I have to rely on Google 47 times a day on average. I'm making it up as I go, and that's okay too.

It's okay because I took the step. I got started on it. I took a step towards my goals, my plans, my dreams, and it's going to work out. It hasn't yet, and I still have a long way to go, but I'm going at least.

23 isn't easy. I'm no longer feelin' 22 (Taylor Swift sobs in the background), but at the same time, I'm not quite to the point of feeling like an actual adult either. Or, maybe I am, I'm just too busy catching up on "The Bachelor" to notice. •

Mood: Staying in, comfy sweatshirts, room service (jk).

Listening to: Lana Del Rey on vinyl, and this song.

Clearly, I've been inspired by all things whimsical, quirky and tropical lately. I'm feeling major girly vibes...maybe because it's February and that holiday I'd rather not talk about is coming up. As usual, I'm still digging subtle pops of blush pink, mint and gold. #onbrand

In other news, Wildfox just dropped their new fairytale-inspired collection, and clearly I'm in love. This Rapunzel top is everything...kinda need it for the next Disney trip! There's also Sleeping Beauty, Little Mermaid and Cinderella pieces...and my inner Disney princess is majorly obsessed.
