Disney Springs, formerly known as Downtown Disney, just got a serious makeover, and boy, does it look good!
While construction is still not complete, the new Town Center at Disney Springs just opened its doors with plenty of new shops and restaurants to try until it's all open this summer.
I was surprised how great the shopping is in the new Town Center. I mean, it's Disney. I wasn't expecting it to be better than the mall, but it totally is. There's something about outdoor shopping centers that just feel more...fun. Again, not all the stores are open yet (looking @ you, Lilly), but the ones that are there are amazing.
Curl by Sammy Duvall at Disney Springs is just outside of Town Center on the West Side. If you're familiar with the area, it's next door to Splitsville Bowling, across from House of Blues. This, by far, is my favorite store. Even though it's not a part of the new Town Center shops, it's a staple at Disney Springs for sure.
Curl offers the perfect mix of beachy, tropical, and boho pieces that are uniquely Florida-inspired. If flowy sundresses and cute printed rompers are your thing, this store is the homeland. They also have an awesome selection of more trendy pieces, like off-the-shoulder tops and cheeky graphic tees, to mix in your wardrobe. And, it's totally affordable. Most of the pieces fall under $50, and the guy's side is pretty great too.
I picked up a ton of pieces from there for summer that I can't wait to share with y'all, like that gorgeous yellow halter top and denim shorts I'm wearing above. #obsessed
Francesca's - This store is super cute. I'm not the biggest fan of their clothes, but they do offer a great selection of gifts and accessories. I picked up a tassel garland for my desk at work, but I also really loved their bar cart accessories and prints (coming back for you, yes way rosé coasters). Their clothes are super feminine and flirty, but nothing really caught my eye!
Zara - Ah, yes. The mecca of legit every top fashion blogger. I walked in there and everything made sense about what I see on my Instagram feed daily. It's absolutely massive. I think this store is better for contemporary pieces, and although I didn't purchase anything, I'll definitely keep checking back for my work wardrobe and more basic, versatile pieces.
Alex and Ani - I can't express how nice everyone in that store is! They have the cutest Disney bangles too. I ended up getting a unicorn bangle though, because, I mean, it's a unicorn, and it supported Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Win-win.
Kate Spade - This store does not disappoint. And, with the release of their new Minnie Mouse collection, it just makes things even more magical!
American Threads - If you're all about festival style, this store is for you. Super boho and on-trend, this store has a great variety of crop tops and bralettes for the free-spirited at heart.
Stores to come...
Lilly Pulitzer - So, this is obvious, but I'm real hype about the Disney Springs store, mostly because I'm hoping for Disney prints beyond the hidden Mickeys in their dressing room. Rumor is they're opening this week, so we shall see. Tbd.
Anthropologie - This one looks like it'll be fairly large compared to the rest of the stores at Disney Springs. I'm actually addicted to their home décor.
Free People - Recently, I've actually really loved their pieces, so I'm excited to be able to go in-store to try things on soon!
Uniqlo - I've worked with them on a collab for my blog before, and they honestly have the best basic pieces for your wardrobe ever. And, it's super affordable. I'm mostly excited about all the Disney graphic tees that they'll hopefully have in-store.
Overall, I'm super impressed with the setup. I love that there's such a variety and that it doesn't feel like a theme park, but mostly, because it's 10 minutes away from me! I'm looking forward to see what else is added and to try out all the new restaurants as well. Definitely worth a visit on your next Disney trip!
