I always love accessorizing with new pieces to mix up my look. This time around, I'm teaming up with EyeBuyDirect to style a few cute pairs of glasses, just in time for back to school!

EyeBuyDirect sent me over some cuuuute retro frames to try, even though I actually don't wear glasses. My vision is a-okay (for now), but the cool thing about these glasses is that they have protection from the glare of computer and phone screens. This is huge for me since I sit behind a desk all day staring at my screen at work, so I just had to try them out.

So far, I love them! I've worn the glasses for about a week, and they make a huge difference during the day. I normally get really horrible headaches in the office, and they've been almost nonexistent since I started wearing them. I'm even wearing a pair right now as I type this post!

I've been getting lots of questions since sharing them on Snapchat and Instagram, so I pulled together links to them and how to style them below!

OFFICE CASUAL

"Aurora" glasses // similar dress // similar sweater // similar sandals // tote // similar necklace // watch

My office is fairly casual, so I love wearing flowy t-shirt dresses and sandals a lot. I always, always layer with a cardigan since it's freezing in there! Complemented with a quirky pair of glasses, this look is super relaxed, stylish and functional.

TRENDY CHIC

"Aura" glasses // top (similar style under $50 here) // similar jeans // shoes // similar earrings

I'm not sure why glasses aren't more of a thing, because they'd look totally cute with a super trendy off-the-shoulder top, boyfriend jeans and suede pumps, don't cha think? I'm gonna make it a thing.

OFF TO CLASS

"Bardot" glasses (my favorite pair!) // t-shirt // similar shorts // sneakers // similar scrunchie // backpack

Headed back to school? These glasses are the perfect addition to keep in your backpack for typing notes in class or scrolling through Pinterest working on that paper in the library. And, you'll look super cute while doing it.

Do you currently wear glasses? Which pair is your favorite?

As a blogger, my biggest challenge besides writer's block is finding inspiration and staying inspired. It's fairly simply to put together an outfit for a post, but it's a little more difficult when you're trying to create authentic content for your blog or social media channels. Inspiration here is key.

I tend to feel uninspired if I'm extremely busy at work or have a full social calendar, so it's always important for me to find quiet time to reflect and relax. I find inspiration in the smallest of things, whether it be a movie or new song that I love, a simple Pinterest pin, or even other blogs and sites.

I'm sharing some of my favorite places to be inspired online below to help you find new ways to get those creative juices flowing!

PINTEREST

via

Pinterest has always been my go-to to get inspired. I even have an inspiration board that I keep up as a visual reference when I've got a case of the blahs. It's a great way to funnel all those things I'm inspired by into one place, almost like a mood board. I try to pin things at least 2-3 times a week, sometimes more depending on how inspired I'm feeling.

TUMBLR

Similar to Pinterest, Tumblr serves as a source of visual inspiration for me. Since it only has one constant feed, it's not really a great place to reference back to posts, unless I save them by liking the photo. Still, it's a little messy, but I think that's the appeal of it. I try to keep my feed aesthetically-pleasing, making sure all my posts make sense for the style and look that I love, as well as follow blogs that keep me inspired and offer fresh content.

LIFESTYLE BLOGS

via

I'm constantly inspired by other lifestyle blogs and sites. I love staying up-to-date with their content to help me stay inspired not just when writing my own content, but also my day-to-day life. I'm not saying you should copy their content (that's not okay!), but following other blogs that interest you can provide insight as to what exactly keeps you inspired.

For me, I'm a big fan of Glitter Guide for their unique content and gorgeous photos. I also love Disney Style because they always share fun posts on how to incorporate a little Disney magic into everyday. Another favorite is LaurenConrad.com, because LC will forever be a total #girlboss, and I love the whimsical aesthetic her site and content offer. Oh Joy! is also a fun one to read!

INSTAGRAM

via

Instagram is a huge source of inspiration for me, as I'm on it multiple times a day. I love scrolling through my feed to view a wide variety of content. Anytime I find a blog I'm inspired by, I almost always check out their Instagram first and follow them to stay connected. All of the aforementioned blogs I follow across social media, but definitely keep tabs on their Instagram feed the most!

While the new algorithm is a little clunky, I love discovering new hashtags and accounts to follow. I sometimes even screenshot posts I absolutely love to reference later - anything that I'm like, wow, I love that!, I always like to save, whether it be an outfit idea, decor inspiration or just something that I feel like is also my style.

Other ways I like to get inspired are through YouTube videos - not necessarily vlogs, but videos more like this that have that same vibe I'm going for. Spotify playlists are also great for discovering new artists and songs. And, of course, lifestyle brands are always a good source. My favorites to keep up with are ban.do, Show Me Your Mumu, Rifle Paper Co., Francesca's, and Urban Outfitters.

Free People dress // American Eagle sandals (c/o) // SailBows Preppy Park Ears

I have an absolutely new favorite dress - this powder blue embroidered number! I wore it to my last visit to Magic Kingdom, and I felt like a total modern day princess (and definitely twirled around the park in it). The delicate details and full skirt is a new staple in my wardrobe. I even wore it again to the office today...seriously committed.

I hope y'all are having a great week - mine has flown by with the rest of this month!

Show Me Your Mumu romper // similar Tory Burch wedges // similar bag

If there's one piece I'm absolutely obsessed with in my closet at the moment, it's this romper! I am in love with the fit and the rose print. So romantic!

I hope y'all had a great week. Mine was pretty quiet, which was rare. I took full advantage of it and crossed a bunch of things off of my to-do list. I totally rearranged a few things in my apartment too...I guess that's what happens when I'm on Pinterest too much! It's so fun to be able to make my place just the way I want it. :)

Crop top set (c/o SheIn) // similar wedges // Ray-Ban sunglasses

Lately, I've been trying out new things, like this adorable crop top set! It's definitely something I wouldn't have picked out for myself a year ago, but that's the fun of it. You never truly know until you try! :)

I know I'm beyond my back to school years, but I can't help but justify these cute back to school items for work! As you probably know, I have a thing for office supplies, so anything that helps me appear organized is always a must. Plus, most of these could totally work for a day at Disney, too!

Wearing: Romper (c/o Tobi, currently on SALE!) // similar bralette (mine is c/o Curl Surf) // similar sandals // Kendra Scott necklace // Ray-Ban aviators // Sloane Ranger clutch (c/o)

This. Romper. Okay, I love rompers in general, but this one is just so darling! I've been really into subtle, muted colors lately, so this pastel mint hue was a must. Plus, I love the little details at the waist. It'll be perfect with a cardigan if it ever cools off.

So, in other news, I just renewed the lease on my apartment, which means I've been living here for a year! Craziness. So much has changed over the year (for the better), and I feel so blessed to have such an amazing job, cute apartment, and friends and family who have supported and encouraged me every step of the way. It's been a wonderful adventure thus far!
