Dressing for fall in Florida can be tricky. With the endless sweaters and scarves popping up in stores, all I can think about is iced coffee and shorts still. Summer is nowhere near over down here, but since I like to stay on-trend with the seasons, I tend to switch up my wardrobe just a little bit to give a more fall-appropriate vibe.

I always go for pieces that have more fall colors (wine, mustard, taupes, olive greens...) over textures. I like to mix flowy tops like the one I'm wearing here with shorts and boho accessories, or even denim with t-shirts and tanks in the evenings. Again, the trick is playing with colors and prints, and steering clear of anything that suggests layering. I'll definitely be sharing more ways to style fall looks for Florida soon!

In other news, I'm officially all moved-in to my new place! I'm so excited for the change of scenery and a much needed fresh start. And, of course, I can't wait to do a little redecorating, too. I'll share another apartment tour once it's all done, so stay tuned!
