Disney recently invited me to experience the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, happening now through November 12 at Walt Disney World. They kindly provided me tickets and a few special amenities to enjoy at the festival. Opinions on the festival and my experience are my own.

What pairs well with a beautiful day at Epcot? Food and wine! One of my favorite events at Walt Disney World, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, is back now through November 12. Sip, savor and stroll your way through countries and their cuisine exclusive to the festival.

Make sure you grab a passport on your way in to explore all the options. There's so many food and beverages to choose from, and something for every palette.

Jesse is definitely more adventurous than I am when it comes to trying new foods, so it was no surprise when he opted for the Jerk Spiced Chicken Lollipop with Roasted Sweet Plantain Salad and Mango Chutney Yogurt. You can find this tropical treat at Islands of the Caribbean near Disney Traders, towards the start of the World Showcase.

Next, we went for a classic with a twist. The New England Lobster Roll, located at Hops and Barley at The American Adventure, was definitely our favorite of the day. It's Warm Lobster with Fresh Herb Mayonnaise served on a Griddled Roll. Melt-in-your-mouth good!

I can't turn down a Belgian waffle, so for dessert, I grabbed a Belgian Waffle with Berry Compote and Whipped Cream from Belgium, located near Morocco. This was the berry best way to end our excursion, and had the right amount of sweet to satisfy my craving!

These are just a few of the many selections available at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. Whether you're a first-timer or a frequent of the festival, there's truly so much to take in, savor and enjoy! I will surely be returning to sample some more dishes and drinks very soon.

Thanks again to Disney for providing the tickets to this event!

I was recently invited to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and share my experience. The tickets were provided by Disney for this special event. However, opinions and thoughts on this event are my own.

Bibbidi-bobbidi-BOO! I had the pleasure of attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party again, and this time, I drew my inspiration from the mouse himself for this subtly Mickey ensemble.

While costumes are encouraged for this event, I like to pull from pieces that are already in my closet. Luckily, one of those pieces is this darling Mickey jumper. Paired with candy-corn ears and a colorful striped shirt, it was the perfect outfit to enjoy the night full of tricks and treats!

Thanks again to Disney for inviting me to this event! You can read about my favorites from the event in my blog post here.

Disney so kindly invited me to a special media event for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and provided me tickets, dining gift cards and select merchandise available at the Walt Disney World Resort. However, opinions and views expressed below on the event are my own.

This. Is. Halloween! Can you believe it's nearly that time again? I absolutely love fall at Walt Disney World, specifically for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom. This is a special ticketed event on select nights now through Halloween featuring all your favorites in a spook-tacular setting.

Magic Kingdom is full of fall decor, including pumpkin Mickeys on the lamp posts lining Main Street, U.S.A. And, if you've got a sweet tooth, you're in for a trick-or-treat. There are places throughout the park to snag some candy, and plenty of treats to try exclusive to the event. My favorite? The Pumpkin Cheesecake, located at Main Street Bakery!

If you're into more savory fare, I recommend the Muenster Smash Burger, a twist on a classic cheeseburger featuring Muenster cheese, tater tots, bacon and a drizzle of Sriracha aïoli. You can find this ghoulish burger located at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café.

In-between treats, visit some of the classic attractions for a few special experiences. Blast off on Space Mountain with its all-new music. Go for a spin on the Mad Tea Party with new lighting effects. And, sail on Pirates of the Caribbean to find the elusive Gunpowder Pete.

Perhaps the spookiest of them all is the entertainment! Catch the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade and you might just see the Headless Horseman make his way through the park. Shortly after, you can watch the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Show light up the sky featuring Disney Villains. It's incredible!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a delightful and frightful treat filled with ghoulish surprises and lots of Halloween fun! If you're visiting Walt Disney World this fall, be sure to check it out.

Universal Orlando Resort recently invited me to attend a special media preview of Universal's Aventura Hotel. They generously provided me with room accommodations and park tickets during our stay. Thoughts and opinions on Universal's Aventura Hotel and Universal Orlando Resort are my own.

Sleek, stylish, and chic, Universal's Aventura Hotel has officially opened, marking its place in the Orlando skyline. I had the special opportunity to preview it before its grand opening, and it is absolutely incredible.

Universal's Aventura Hotel is a Prime Value hotel that offers modern sophistication at an affordable price point. The resort's emphasis on technology also elevated this concept. Each room is equipped with an iPad that controls everything from the TV to the lights, and you can even order food through it, too.

There's really something for everyone here, especially when it comes to the food. Its food hall Urban Pantry offers fresh, crafted selections including sushi, burgers, pizza and international fare.

What I love most about the hotel has to be the surreal views. Whether from the floor to ceiling windows in each room or from the rooftop Bar 17 Bistro, the views of Orlando are breathtaking.

If you're looking for a new way to experience Orlando, Universal's Aventura Hotel is just the place to visit. I had so much fun previewing the hotel and all of its offerings, and can't wait to visit again soon!

Disney recently invited me to a special media event to enjoy all the fun of Toy Story Land! They so generously provided me with complementary tickets, dining gift cards and a few of the products available for purchase at Toy Story Land. Thoughts and opinions on Toy Story Land and its offerings are my own.

You can take a girl out of the '90s, but you can't take the '90s out of the girl. Located at Disney's Studios, Toy Story Land is the park's newest addition, and I was lucky enough to experience it for the first time last week. The colors, the sounds, the views... it's incredible!

"Toy Story" was one of my favorite films growing up, and if I'm being honest, still is. So, when Disney invited me to come play in Andy's backyard for the day, I was thrilled.

When you arrive at Toy Story Land, everything is large-scale because you're "shrunk" down to the size of a toy. Then, it's time to play BIG!

We started out at Slinky Dog Dash, a fun-filled roller coaster with plenty of twists, turns and just the right amount of speed. I loved it, and this was probably my favorite part of Toy Story Land. Thanks to the FastPasses that Disney gave us, we rode it three times!

We also took a spin at Alien's Swirling Saucers. If you're a fan of the Mad Tea Party at Magic Kingdom, this ride is for you! It was too cute with the little green aliens everywhere and the space-infused music from the series.

For breakfast, we grabbed a bite at Woody's Lunch Box, a quick service option with the yummiest options! I had the Banana Split Yogurt Parfait, and it was delicious. Jesse chose the Smoked Turkey Breakfast Sandwich and loved it. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and you can view the full menu here.

Afterwards, we rode Midway Mania. Although we've been on this ride way too many times to count, it was just as fun as ever! I love the new entrance. Oh, and that popsicle stick wall? Find it at the exit of this attraction!

All in all, Toy Story Land is worth a visit. Actually, it's worth a lot of visits because there's just so much to take in. I loved all the details that were so true to the toys that I grew up with. I can't wait to go back!

Thanks again to Disney for inviting me to this special event!
