I've partnered with Fracture to feature their glass photos in this post. While this post is sponsored, opinions are my own.

I absolutely love decorating my apartment and making it more home-y. So, when Fracture reached out to me, I knew I couldn't pass up the opportunity to give my place a little refresh.

I ordered a few glass prints to add to my gallery walls around my apartment, and I love the way they look! They add the perfect touch of personalization to my prints and paintings, and are a lot cooler than just printing out a photo to put in a frame.

Right now, they're having a huge Summer Sale, too! Use code CELEBRATE for 15% off your order now through July 17. Hey, it's never too early to start Christmas shopping! These make awesome gifts.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Blue Lizard Sunscreen. The opinions and text are all mine.

Celebrating all things red, white and blue this week, starting with Blue Lizard Sunscreen! As a native Floridian, sunscreen has been so important - poolside or not. UV rays are harsh. Luckily, Blue Lizard sunscreen is different - the bottle is activated by UV light and turns blue in its presence, reminding me when it's time to reapply! It's made with a natural, not chemical, mineral base. And, it's Paraben and fragrance-free, which is awesome for my sensitive skin.

I can't think of a better way to celebrate the end of a long week than at Ocean Prime for their summer happy hour specials. Jesse and I stopped by last week, and the offerings did not disappoint. I absolutely loved the Dynamite Sushi!

We also sampled a selection of rosés, where I was completely in my element. My favorite was the classic Veuve Clicquot Rosé, which is half-off by the glass during happy hour from 5-7PM on summer Fridays. Cheers to that!

Thanks to Ocean Prime Orlando for having us!

Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly...

When I was in kindergarten, the first book I ever read on my own was Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar. I loved it so much, I made a poster about it for the public library's poster contest, and received an honorable mention because they assumed my parents made it. I actually did make the poster and was just that creative, but I'm not salty. Anyways. For those of you who didn't read it as a kid, the book is really cute and goes through the lifecycle of a caterpillar, who is indeed very hungry. After eating his way through each page, the book ends (*spoiler alert* lol) with the caterpillar turning into a beautiful butterfly.

The caterpillar has no idea what's going on, its instinct is just to build itself into a cocoon, only to exit as a completely different being. I witnessed this transformation firsthand when I had a pet caterpillar in college that I purchased at the farmer's market. Honestly, the whole turning into a butterfly thing was kind of gross and traumatic, but it was pretty cool to watch the progress. It puts a whole new meaning on life-changing. Pretty symbolic, huh?

Change is inevitable. Growing up, I would fight it. I hated change. I can remember getting so upset starting every school year because it meant learning a new schedule. It was overwhelming. I was just a tiny caterpillar who had no idea what's going on.

Still as an adult, I tend to avoid change. But, if there's one thing I've learned, it's that change can be awesome. Letting go of what's good to make room for something great is hard. Like, really hard. I get comfortable in my little cocoon and think that I'm good where I'm at, and then God gives me a little nudge and says he's got something better in mind. He pushes me out of my comfort zone and helps me be the best version of myself... a butterfly, if you will.

Fear of the unknown is real, but faith that God is with me gets me through the big (and small) changes. And, with this upcoming change in my life, I couldn't be more thrilled. For the first time in a long time, I'm embracing the change and ready to flutter onto the next chapter.

Stay tuned...

I've been feeling so inspired lately! After doing a bit of spring cleaning, I noticed the amount of yellow items I've collected as of recent a la Coldplay. Yellow has always been one of my favorites (my childhood room was painted a pastel shade of it!), so it only makes sense that when this color started popping back up, I naturally gravitated towards it. Combined with retro vibes and a little casual style, it's shaping up to be my go-to summer mood.

P.S. Anyone remember my yellow phase of 2016?? It's happening again! Ha!

It's been so fun going on Disney dates with Jesse since he became an annual passholder. We've been going to the parks a ton lately, so to mix things up, we decided to make a stop for Dole Whips at Disney's Polynesian Resort over the weekend. You can find these treats at the Pineapple Lanai just outside the lobby of the resort.

Jesse's never had a Dole Whip before, so it was so fun to share one with him (even if it melted all over us when we were snapping a few pics). He loved it, of course. Looks like we'll be back again for more soon. :)

It's no secret that the 70s have my heart. I love retro-inspired ensembles and anything that's just a tad boho. So, when I found these bell bottoms, I knew I had to have them. And, they're the stretchiest comfiest pants I own, so I love throwing them on with a tee to run around town on the weekends, or with a crop top and wedges for a night out.

Speaking of weekends, Jesse and I love hitting up our favorite local spots in our free time. Record stores, thrift shops, coffee spots... ya know, where the kids are hanging these days! Our favorite is Park Ave CDs in Audubon Park for the best selection of vinyls, and Lineage Coffee at their new location at Mills 50. If you go, get the White Cold Brew... if they haven't sold out of it for the day. It's my favorite!
