Last weekend, I woke up and decided to cut off all of my hair. No, Jesse and I didn’t break up (he’s stuck with me lol). I just did it on a complete whim, and it felt GREAT.

It feels like a literal weight was lifted off my shoulders. As a long hair club member since pretty much forever, it shocked me to discover that I love my short hair even more?? Maybe eventually I’ll grow it out again, but for now, this long bob is here to stay.

I overthink everything. I analyze every possibility, every outcome, the string of what if’s. But, for once, I did something completely spontaneous and couldn’t be more proud of myself for doing so.

Every once in a while, do something that surprises yourself. Not everything has to be strategic or planned. Life’s short... and now, my hair is, too.

Over the weekend, I experienced Disney Springs like never before. Now, select venues at Disney Springs are open 'til 2 a.m. every Thursday through Sunday with late-night bites and offerings.

We kicked off the night with a delicious Italian meal at Maria & Enzo's Ristorante, followed by specialty drinks at The Edison (my favorite!). This was the first time I went to both of these locations, and it certainly won't be my last.

The Edison was an unforgettable experience. There was something going on everywhere I looked! My favorite part was the live entertainment. You have to see it for yourself.

We then stopped by Morimoto Asia, where a secret entrance led us to the Forbidden Lounge. One word: incredible. We grabbed a bite of sushi there before heading to our next venture, STK Orlando, which had a DJ and stunning rooftop views of Disney Springs.

Enzo's Hideaway was up next. Tucked under Maria and Enzo's Ristorante, this speakeasy-style restaurant had the coolest aesthetic and a live band.

We ended the night with a visit to Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar, which was Jesse's favorite spot. The detail in this place was unreal... so much to look at! And, the drinks were even better.

Our late night was a blast, but the fun didn't stop there. The next morning, we hopped in Minnie Vans at the resort and headed back to Disney Springs. We got a sneak peek of all the new things coming soon to Disney Springs, including DisneyStyle, a new store that showcases park-inspired apparel and accessories opening in May.

Afterwards, we enjoyed a lively brunch at Raglan Road, where Irish dancers and a live band performed while I enjoyed a strawberry mimosa and giant stack of pancakes. Then, it was time to do a little shopping. I treated myself to a few goodies from my favorite Disney Springs stores!

With the weather warming up, it's the perfect time to explore all the new things Disney Springs has to offer. Whether you're up for a late night out or a more relaxing day of brunch and shopping, there's something for everyone.

Thank you to Disney Springs for having us!

When I was a college freshman, I took a class called "Making It Up As You Go." Since I didn't read the class description beforehand, I found out on the first day of class that it was actually an improvisational theater course.

I stuck with it (mostly because I couldn't transfer out), but it actually turned out to be one of my favorite courses in college. It forced me out of my comfort zone and gave me a little bit more self-confidence, especially after performing our final in front of a live audience. #yikes

Not much has changed since freshman year. Sure, I managed to get my degree, start my career and somehow grow up in the process, too. But, I'm still making it up as I go for the most part. Life happens. To quote my favorite movie, it's all happening. And, happening fast. As much as I love to plan things out, it's hard to keep up.

I think that's why it's important to just enjoy it. I spent a lot of time worrying about trying to get my life together, to make it my idea of perfect, and let me tell you, it's a major waste of time. Sometimes, making it up as you go is all you can do. And, if there's anything I've learned (besides reading class descriptions before signing up), it's to have fun.

Life's short. Wear fringe vests with flare jeans and conductor hats. Make it up as you go. Trust me, everyone else is, too.

I love finding local gems in Orlando, especially when those hidden gems are cute coffee shops! I recently visited Paloma Coffee Co. in Windermere, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was completely charming! I ordered a Vanilla Bean Latte, and it was one of *Drake voice* the best I've ever had. I'll definitely be stopping by this place again soon!

Spring is coming! Don't put those sweaters away yet. Transition them in for warmer weather and layer them over dresses for an easy go-to look.

I styled this outfit with one of my favorite fall pieces... this corduroy jumper! I wore it with a graphic tee and ankle booties for a casual vibe, and then threw on this hat to add some flair. It's by far one of my favorite looks I've ever worn!

Happy New Year, everyone! I had the absolute best holiday season, all starting with a little birthday staycation at Loews Royal Pacific Resort! This tropical oasis is located at Universal Orlando Resort, making it super easy to visit the parks while during a stay.

It's just a short water taxi ride or about a ten minute walk away from Universal CityWalk, Universal's Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida. The best part is that you get complimentary Express Passes when you stay at Loews Royal Pacific Resort (or any of the other participating Universal Orlando Resort hotels), which means you get to skip the regular lines at the parks! We took full advantage of this perk and rode all of our favorites with minimal wait times!

I couldn't think of a better place to celebrate my birthday or the holidays. The resort was decorated so beautifully for the season! My favorite was seeing The Wizarding World of Harry Potter with all of its Christmastime decor. My muggle heart was soaring!

Thank you to Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Resort for such a wonderful stay and partnering with me on this post!
