winter
2016 was a year of growth for me personally, spiritually, professionally, and creatively. I took lots of time off from blogging to enjoy life a little more. Instead of worrying about my next post, I aimed to post only when I felt inspired, and boy, has it made a huge difference!
I used to put so much pressure on myself for no reason to try to keep up with trends and the Joneses of the blogging world - it was miserable! I now find myself going back to the reason why I started blogging - to share my life and style in my own space. Just doin' my own thang, you know?
My style has changed a lot too, undoubtedly because of that as well. Instead of trying to keep up with the "blogger look," I'm more choosey with what I invest in and am definitely more selective when shopping. I buy what I like, despite what's "in" or "out" at the moment. I feel so much more confident when I am wearing something that I love, versus what someone else is telling me I should wear. I still keep up with trends, I'm not denying that, but I incorporate them based on what fits me and my lifestyle.
I'm really looking forward to 2017 and all the changes it brings, too. I know God's got some good ones ahead, just gotta take it one day at a time! :)

Brrr...it's been kind of chilly lately, so I seized the opportunity to break out my fall/winter wear and head over to the parks. Bailey and I had brunch at the Yacht Club Resort to celebrate her birthday a little early, and after, we walked over to Epcot to see all the gorgeous Christmas decorations!
It's a weird day when I have to wear a jacket, jeans and boots to the parks, but I loved it! I threw on my favorite utility jacket and distressed denim with a pair of riding boots. Definitely a nice change from my usual t-shirt and shorts combo!

My style has completely evolved into something totally different, and I absolutely love it. I've been feelin' so boho lately, and this embroidered kimono I picked up at American Threads in Disney Springs was just the perfect piece for my wardrobe. It's so fun, flowy and the details are so, so pretty. It was perfect to throw on over a tank and my favorite pair of denim shorts for lunch and shopping with my bestie!

apartment
life
I am so excited to finally share my apartment tour with y'all! My friend Emma over at Emma Shourds Photography came over for a fun session to snap pics of my little place I call home. Inspired by Florida, vintage pieces and, of course, Disney, it truly is my own space and style!
Also, I haven't linked anything since there's so many little things here and there, but if you want to know where anything is from, feel free to send a quick email and I'd be happy to share! I shopped a lot at Target and HomeGoods/TJ Maxx for decor, but I also incorporated some unique finds along the way.
